FF14 News: Right Now The Best Thing In Final Fantasy XIV Is Fishing \'Raids\'
Just like I said on the title, there is nothing more interesting than getting to fish on a huge boat with your best friends in the game of Final Fantasy XIV. And now I am totally addicted to this game. Anyway, thanks for this latest update. Want to know more information about FF14 fishing, keep reading.

Do you know why I love Final Fantasy XIV so much? Because in order to keep this game freshness, the developers in this game have to consistently offer new updates and add more interesting and unique content to this game, but the very latest addition of multiplayer fishing parties really takes this cake.

As a matter of fact, I am not much of an endgame raider; I run the slightly difficult “Extreme” stuff to get FF14 mounts and weapons, but I seldom do anything more difficult than that. Cause you know I do not have the time or schedule to coordinate with a group to just run it, and I have to admit that I’m pretty scared of the online strangers being rude and mean to me about my damage. Whenever the new updates come out that launch a new tier of Savage raids and stuff, Mostly, I am excited and happy for my friends and I enjoy the rest of the patch content on my own.

However, patch 5.2 for Final Fantasy XIV added a brand new feature, (that, apparently, is not the Parasol In Patch 5.21 for Final Fantasy XIV I am talking about) suited for me perfectly, and that is Ocean Fishing. Ocean fishing takes place every two hours and for you, you can group up with 23 other players to fish on the same boat. You have a couple of minutes to fish at three different places before the boat officially moves. The better the fish, the more points you score, and there are party bonuses for achieving some certain requirements (so far, I am not sure whether FFXIV Gil is also included as an item in a party bonus or not). There is also an adorable tiny shark minion and a goofy-looking shark mount if you score above a threshold. For me, I must have both.

Now it has been a quite long time since a video game has found methods to disrupt my real life the way massively multiplayer online FFXIV fishing has. In the game of MapleStory, I would log on at a specific time to try to get a cosmetic chair that I wanted the most, but that was several years ago. And right now I find myself making sure I am logged into Final Fantasy XIV every other hour to fish, and I have to make sure to let all my best friends know that.

We party up and we will choose spots next to each other on the boat. And we will be in DISCORD calls lamenting our good (or more frequently, bad) luck and sharing fishing strategies.

Under most circumstances, ocean fishing is quite wholesome. Players cheer when a rare spectral current gets triggered or they will build up their fishing spot next to their friends to spend some time together. But, everyone should band together against a common enemy: and that is the Momora Mora fish. Cause according to what we have collected that this cursed fish is quite big, and it triggers the large catch notification, therefore, people will waste their skills in the hopes of reeling in double fish with double points…only to pull in this low-scoring dud of a fish.

To be honest, I often think of how much I enjoy playing Final Fantasy XIV, and this latest addition of ocean fishing only makes me love this game even better. The developer Square Enix gives something for all types of players, whether you are just a casual fisher or a very hardcore raider, and in the meantime, the company continues to add all kinds of fun, fresh content. There is so much to do in this game and with all of the references to much older Final Fantasy titles, like the very recent addition of Final Fantasy 7’s Ruby Weapon boss, it’s the perfect MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) for me to kill time with.

Even though in the face of Momora Mora fish toxicity, these fishing raids have already brought me much closer to my friends, as well as whatever strangers get suckered into my party.

Last but not least question, can we get Final Fantasy XIV Gil if we get this toxic fish and sell this item on boards? Does anyone know that?
