Brazil – Yuri Wariss is a Brazilian singer-songwriter that is new to the scene, full of potential, and will now share his talent with the world, making his debut into the international pop scene. On Friday, January 30, 2021, Yuri will launch his single and audiovisual project, “Dynamite.” Later in 2021, Yuri plans to release his EP, “YES!” on the VEVO platform, allowing listeners around the world to fall in love with his story and style. While waiting for Yuri’s EP to drop, listeners will get a taste by listening to and viewing “Dynamite.”

“Dynamite” tells a story that transcends all location and language barriers. Through his new single, Yuri tells his own story about being a young gay man, navigating his gender identity, and discovering love. “I grew up believing there was something wrong with me,” says Yuri. “My experiences with love came late, forcing me to learn how to love in the digital age with all of its dangers and issues.” “Dynamite” is the cathartic expression of one’s gender identity awakening and represents the explosive side of Yuri’s discovery of self. “Dynamite” surreally portrays the various phases of romantic love, a concept Yuri will explore through the other songs on his EP.

Yuri’s music is produced remotely with the help of Brazilian, Venezuelan, and French producers. Yuri received local support in the creation of his music from SWAM studios, a production company he co-founded along with two other partners.
