Fotopod Booth Awarded the Most Innovative 360 Photo Booth of 2022
Scheduled to showcase at the Photo Booth Expo 2022 in Las Vegas, Fotopod will launch a completely ground-breaking, and engaging video capturing experience. The 360°ORB is Fotopod’s vision for the hottest 360 Photo Booth concept to hit the market in 2022.
“It’s not a trend if you’re the first one,” proclaimed Tu Le, the Chief designer and owner of Fotopod.
Fotopod was able to back this claim with some innovative 360° capturing features. This includes the Photo Booth industry’s first dual-controlled white plus RGB 360° Pixel Tube LED DMX, and Smart App-controlled lighting technology, combined with a ‘patent-pending’ top-mounted modular planetary motor design, all packaged within a slick safety enclosure setup.
During the Las Vegas pre-launch event, Tu and his team revealed how challenging but rewarding it was to bring such a unique product to the video capturing and photo booth market. During the Covid-19 2021 lockdown, the Fotopod team converged remotely, to collaborate on a sleek 360-degree video capturing pod with the main focus on ease of use, reliability, and most importantly, a safer user experience. “I am so proud of what our team has accomplished considering the lockdown, remote collaboration, and supply-chain challenges,” acknowledged Tu.
The 360°ORB design team is made up of technical scientists, mechanical, electrical, and robotic engineers, in collaboration with Hollywood ‘movie-magic’ Imagineers tasked to invent a top-mounted, motorized enclosure-capturing system.
The 360°ORB’s product approach to high-end event ownership and public safety is evident in many of the design and hardware features. For example, the curved partition provides an instant crowd control barrier. Therefore, there is no need to bring and set up traditional heavy rope/ribbon stanchions. The curved barrier is intended to hold up all of the surrounding LED Pixel Tube Lights, and thus, no need for additional tripod lighting stands. The guests inside the enclosure do not stand on any raised platforms. Another novel invention is the 360 spinning armature and the dynamic counterbalance weight system. The patent-pending adjustable apparatus, which holds the camera capturing device, is designed to immediately disengage from the motor assembly if an object is accidentally struck, such as an unaware guest. Since the 360°ORB is completely self-powered by the Lithium Power Station, there are no loose wires or power cables, which thus eliminates any occupational hazards.
The 360°ORB, packed with so many cutting-edge features, was recently named the Most Innovative 360 Photo Booth Award -2022, awarded by the prestigious UK-based Corporate LiveWire Awards. The industry-picked judges announced the 360°ORB was the strongest entrant in the crowded 360 Photo Booth market, and have selected the 360°ORB as the defining winner for 2022.
